Wyjątkowi wolontariusze
Dziękuję za zaangażowanie niemal setce uczennic i uczniów Prywatnego Liceum Ogólnokształcącego dla Młodzieży w Nowym Targu im. prof. Jana Venuleta z klas mundurowych. Byli z nami przyszli żołnierze, strażacy i policjanci. Mimo chłodu i mżawki wspaniale się spisali. Oprócz pracy była także chwila na edukację. Dziękuję Pani dyrektor Sylwi Sawickiej za otwartość i współpracę oraz wspaniały przykład dla młodzieży podczas prac, dziękuję obecnym nauczycielom na czele z Panem Krzysztofem Tekielem, z którym organizowaliśmy nasze prace. Już podczas mojej ostatniej wizyty w szkole dowiedziałem się jak bardzo aktywni są uczniowie nowotarskiej mundurówki na polu wolontariatu. A nawet są wśród uczniów (obecnie absolwenci) już bohaterzy którzy w tym roku uratowali kobietę udzielając jej pierwszej pomocy. Szacun! Praca z wami była przyjemnością. Pokazaliście jak mundur z orzełkiem i biało czerwoną może przywracać godność dawnym mieszkańcom.
Exceptional volunteers
I want to thank almost a hundred students from the „uniform classes” of the Prof. Jan Venulet Private Secondary School for Youth in Nowy Targ for their commitment. Future soldiers, firefighters and policemen were with us yesterday. Despite the cold and drizzle, they did a great job working at the cemetery. Apart from work, we also had time for education. I would like to thank Principal Sylwia Sawicka for her openness and cooperation, as well as the great example she set for the young people. My thanks also go to the teachers who were present, headed by Krzysztof Tekiel, with whom we organised the voluntary work. I found out during my last visit to the school how active the students of the Nowy Targ school are in the field of voluntary work. Some of them (graduates by now) are heroes. They saved a woman earlier this year by giving her first aid. My great respect!
It was a great pleasure working with you. You showed how a uniform with the white eagle and the Polish white and red flag can restore dignity to the former inhabitants of the town.
