Wyjątkowe spotkanie
Dzisiaj wyjątkowe spotkanie na cmentarzu żydowskim w Czarnym Dunajcu. Hołd ofiarom Zagłady oddała Pani Konsul RFN w Krakowie Ursula Maier. Była to wzruszająca pełna emocji wizyta. Razem z Wojtek Glowacz opowiedzieliśmy o żydowskich mieszkańcach i tragedii jaka w czasie okupacji za sprawą nazistowskich Niemiec miała miejsce na tych ziemiach.Rozmawialiśmy także o naszym projekcie. Wizyta była okazją do podziękowań dla Konsula RFN w Krakowie dr Michaela Grossa za wsparcie finansowe naszego projektu oraz filmu Wojciecha Szumowskiego „Ukos Światła”. Spotkaliśmy się z Panem Wójtem Czarnego Dunajca Marcinem Ratułowskim oraz razem zwiedziliśmy budynek Synagogi.
A remarkable meeting
A remarkable meeting took place at the Jewish cemetery in Czarny Dunajec today. Ms Ursula Maier, Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Krakow, paid tribute to the local victims of the Holocaust. It was a touching visit, full of emotions. Together with Wojtek Glowacz, we told Consul Maier about the Jewish inhabitants of these lands and the tragedy that befell them at the hands of the Nazi German occupiers. We also talked about our project. The visit was also an opportunity to express our thanks to Dr Michael Gross, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Krakow, for the financial support he lent for our project and the film by Wojciech Szumowski, „Edge of Light.” We also met with Mr Marcin Ratułowski, Mayor of Czarny Dunajec, and we visited the building of the former synagogue together.
